Volume 06 – Extra 3 and Afterword

Finally, here is the Species Guide. Have much fun reading it! Also, the afterword is also published, it includes a new poll, which I also will explain here.

It’s about Lvo’tjos, or rather the funny scenes that involves him, especially at the end of the volume. I had much fun writing them and it’s a bit sad, that there were no comments involving them, so I just want to give you a chance to vote what you can still remember.

Now you need to wait for volume 7. Still beta-reading it, then I like to have the cover ready in time, and to have it PRed before publishing it… because of RL, I needed some months to prepare for the future and while it’s almost over, I’m hopelessly behind schedule. Especially as I haven’t even started writing volume 8…

Volume 06 – Chapter 5-5

This is the lackluster conclusion… well, in a sense, it makes your heart full. Full of a lot. Maybe you even find it wonderful. I’m rather proud at the last scene.

My schedule becomes worse… at least the species is in Antsago’s capable hands. I guess I need to release the different Extras at different dates to make it more fluent. Next weekend is also bad… Well, I need to stick to it and do what I can do.

Next time it’s the Epilogue. Some things may become clearer, some questions will be raised, the usual stuff. Still looking forward it. :3

Volume 06 – Chapter 5-3

One clash finishes, the other goes to the next level. Literally. Also, something broke. We’ll see how it ends.

Ara’ainn’s Species Guide has a finished alpha-draft, I plan to give it Santsago during next week. I have also written an alpha-draft of the Gottfried extra, now only the canon-extra remains.

I really suffer from how much my time not writing (because of my hurting hand) has pushed me back, and I may need a long break to come to volume 7, as there are some glaring issues I like to adress. Sorry about that. Didn’t even started with alpha-drafting volume 8, which I’d usually had done for a change of pace… Let’s see, if I can deliver the Extras somehow in time.

Well, next time we see what happens. Breaking the chapter apart at this spot has to be done by a sadistical mind! ):3

Volume 06 – Chapter 5-2

The clash begins! Not only does Rine find herself in a battle that might be too much for her, no, even Ara’ainn gets something to do. Isn’t it nice to antagonize people you’re supposed to have nothing to do with?

The Species Guide is almost finished in writing, yet I asked MioChin to provide some pictures that Ara’ainn drew for this occasion. As I don’t know when he delivers, I can’t promise it on time. Another issue is, that the two other Extra-segments (Gottfried and the canonical) haven’t even started yet. I’m still recovering my hand and I’m positive, that I’ll start this weekend, yet this hand-thing has thrown me back, schedule-wise.

Next time, we have my most favorite scene in the whole volume, I hope you’ll like it. Just shows how unreasonable Rine can be at times.

Volume 06 – Chapter 5-1

And here it is, the first part of the final chapter of the sixth volume! I show you the power of lazy writing! …well, actually, this was planned ahead, so not entirely lazy. A bit though. I mean… nevermind.

Btw, my favorite scene is when Kenta is hit because he gets a message. One of the things I think could be disasterous if VRMMORPG will ever be a thing and people don’t think about playability much.

Extras are a bit slow, but I have a pace that I can keep up without hurting my hand further. Around 2 weeks left, if I can trust the doctor.

Next time will be about seperation and reunion. In all kind of manners!

Volume 06 – Chapter 4-1

With witches, alfar, and ss’rak you have a full meal of strange things you don’t want to have in a haunted swamp! Here you can read it anyway.

The pain in my hands becomes better, yet typing hurts after a while. I have an appointment with a neurologist… end of September. Whelp, splint it is for a while. I guess the pain is away by then and then they’re only looking whether I need a sugery or not.

MioChin is busy, I hope he can make time for me soon. There are still some things I like him to draw… I’m so lonely, I need art!!!

Next time, we look at how the other two fare with their share of problems!

Volume 06 – Chapter 3-3

Here is the third part and we now know what exactly drives Kruan. Kruan is an interesting ss’rak, as he shows that each of them are individuals and even though honor plays a huge part in their society, he’s twisting it as he can’t move on like this. It also puts Kenta in a bad position.

I have one of the potent author curses, my main-hand suffers from a splint. Problem with the neural system of the of the arm that needs me to rest it this way several hours a day and during my sleep, but also means that I shouldn’t write too much now, at least with both hands. Good thing the volume 7 alpha draft is done… But this may make it difficult to work on the Extras for about 3 weeks.

Also, Antsago helps me with editing volume 2 which is like a dream coming finally true. I’ll try to release the revised versions of the chapter-parts between the usual releases, though as I like to at least include new status pages, it might take a while longer than I want (also want to include new ones in volume 1 with [Student] on the table).

Next time, we have Kyou and Rine on their own. Let’s see what Mama Orana has to say and what Rine will do in the village.

Volume 06 – Chapter 2-3

Starting right off when Kenta praised Kyou about the hormone regulating drug! We’re going into a bit of relationships here and how they can change over time. Especially Kruan is starting to make up his mind!

The poll is right now at a draw! On all plattforms! Another week and if we don’t have clearance until then, then I need to vote myself for the final decision.

Was a week with my parents and had little progress with volume 7, yet it sure was great to see them again and have a change of scenery to get my mind off things. Now I use the weekend to catch up with everything that I left and hope that I can do the stuff I need to do next week and put my free time into volume 7. …the horror… I hope you’ll like it, because it takes really much time and thoughts. I’m glad that volume will be simpler again.

Next time, we’ll explore more of the swamps. This is also the part when everything goes wrong.

New supplement. And also bragging!

I added “Setting” into the Misc-tab and some more pages under it. It might make it easier for the readers to look up some of the names and other things of the setting.

And I want to brag, since I just finished the first draft of volume 03 and it’s reassuring, that I’m a volume ahead for times, I really got no time to write stuff. And also, because I like to review a volume after some time, so that I can kill continuity-errors and prepare some ideas I had, after writing at a much later chapter.

Finally, volume 02 will most likely start being published on monday. Hopefully, you’ll like it. 😀

Volume 1 – Chapter 4-3

Final part of the final chapter of volume 1. Since I finished one step in character developement of Kenta, I wanted to add one for Kyou as well, so this part was added after the first draft (plus a lot that leads to it). Hope you enjoy.

Now to the planning of the rest of the content of Volume 01. I try to get the Epilogue ready next week (most likely Wednesday), on Friday 24th June I will evaluate the poll (here and on Royal Road) and start writing the Extra. It should be out on Wednesday 29th, if there are no problems.

Then the first volume will be completed and I start working on the second, which is still in its first draft state. So there may be a one or two week break, before the second volume starts, but I may bring some supplement out. And of course a preview. 😉

The third volume is under work toward the first draft. Almost finished with the second chapter.

Next time, the Epilogue. You know, that part which ties some ends and brings some new insight of things to come.
