Volume 01 – Prologue REWORKED
Hey there, the prologue of volume 1 has been reworked… for a second time. Last attempt to rework the first volume failed due to lack of PRs, but some time ago, I asked a now disbanded group of PRs and Editors on RRL (DRAFT) to help me with this, though the job was left unfinished… well, with Orion’s help, who PRed the rest, it’s finally done, volume 1 will be updated, first on this blog bit by bit.

What exactly changed? Here and there a sentence more or less, trying to get past Grammar issues, and so on. Nothing big overall, but I hope that it is an improvement to get new readers more easily hooked up.
MioChin is also working on the illustrations of volume 1, that’s why I make it weekly (or try to), so that there is more time to include them when they appear. I’ll also post the new illustrations when updating on the blog.
RRL will get the updates simultaneously, so if you prefer to read there, you can do it.

Volume 05 – Chapter 3-1
The third chapter starts! Kenta is about to implement his masterplan… or maybe more of his quick and dirty scheme to deal with his daily problems. Will it succeed?
The poll is over, SAO wins by 2 votes! Thanks for participating, though I was already about to start an MIB-story, so this may come soon enough. The structure of the SAO-story will be much different after all. Let’s see if things will be as I imagine it.
Still writing new stuff, I guess I’m around the second half of that volume, though when writing an alpha-draft it’s always hard to tell where I am, as I just add stuff along the way as I please and find logical. Plus, many, many rewrites, killing of hours of writing time, as I rearrange stuff and such.
Next time, Kenta will find some hot action!
Volume 05 – Chapter 2-4
Final part of the second chapter, the rest of the date. Some more urban encounters and why having good hearing can really, really suck.
The poll goes into its final weeks, it’ll be either SAO or MIB, both are close enough to each other that this week may decide it all. Both possibilities will be totally different stories. 😉
MioChin is on fire, looks like he wants to suck me dry. As I get all the nice art, I don’t particularly mind though, as I get all the nice images fast and nicely done. We may finally make the volume 1 illustrations and move to volume 2 to close the artistic gap completely!
Also, created a Ko-fi page. While I may not after money in this current state, some readers might want to support this with a tip equal to a cup of coffee at times. These are only single-time tips, other than Patreon, so maybe people will consider it. Gives more of a budget for images, editing, and such.
Next time, Kenta will do something that he really shouldn’t…

Volume 05 – Chapter 2-3
Kenta is having his first! A nice small part, which had actually be split in the midst of a scene, as it would be too long otherwise. Don’t worry, I made sure that it’s a clean one between two activities, so it may even be noticed.
Well, I’m still at the beta-draft of the next volume, as I add really some scenes and pages to certain parts, almost feels like an alpha-draft again. Wish I could stop time, so that I can just continue writing while I feel the groove, instead of pausing whenever things like work come up…
MioChin and I are almost finished with the Ara’ainn’s picture as an [Acrobat], but the moment I thought “Yes, we got this!” I noticed a small, but very important detail that’s missing. Can you guess?

Also, I got some nice reviews on RRL, makes me always happy, as I usually get some bashing in the review section. Don’t worry, the comments are usually motivating, it’s just great to get some positive feedback in the reviews as well.

Character-design Inoue Masahiko
Hey there, a little update. MioChin and I have finished the character-design for Inoue Masahiko, Kyou’s friend and leader of the “superfriends.” If you look at him, you may find yourself asking, why he isn’t the protagonist of the story.
Do yourself a favor and do not compare Masahiko and Kenta side by side, as it may lead to dismay and the feeling of being betrayed. 
For now, the character-design is viewable in the images of volume 2, though things may change in the future. Guess, why we worked on this. 😉

Volume 05 – Chapter 2-2
Here is what happened to Rine and Ara’ainn, while Kenta and Kyou were in the taproom. It either shows Rine’s devotion to her husband, or how scary it is to cross her. Pick thee one you like. ;D
Working on the beta-draft of the next volume, to get it release-ready is always time-consuming. What I call a “beta-draft”? Alpha-draft is what I write first, in a beta-draft I revise it, add, delete, or alter scenes, try to get rid of some continuity errors, as I may had an idea much later in the volume which contradicts former stated facts, etc. This takes quite a while, and then there is still more to do… well, writing a story is a test of endurance.
On the other hand, MioChin and I are finalizing a character-draft of the handsome hero, Inoue Masahiko, leader of the superfriends, and friend of Kyou. I’ll show it to you, when it’s ready. Trust me, the moment you compare Masahiko to Kenta, you’ll ask yourself, why he isn’t the protagonis. 😀
The second poll for the non-canonical chapter is still going. If you haven’t, please vote here, so that I know what kind of story you’d enjoy. I’m already thinking about what to do with the current top-contenders.
